MEASUREMENT & FIT
At Fold and Fray we do not use gender or label size to organize or identify items. We believe that having the actual measurements of an item is more useful when shopping online.
You already know how your own clothes fit and feel. Because of this, we suggest comparing the Fold and Fray ITEM MEASUREMENTS to the measurements of your own clothes that are similar in style and cut (and fit well).
You can find the ITEM MEASUREMENTS and the drop-down MEASUREMENT DEFINITIONS on each item page. They tell you where each measurement was taken (in inches). While we include the information from the original tag, we recommend using our methods to help determine fit.
HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS ON YOUR ITEMS AT HOME
APPAREL - Do up all buttons, zippers or buckles and undo any drawstrings.
- Lay your item on a flat surface and smooth it out to the seams/edges.
- Measure your item with a soft measuring tape according to the drop-down MEASUREMENT DEFINITIONS listed on the item page.
- Compare the measurements of your own item with the ITEM MEASUREMENTS listed on Fold and Fray.
FOOTWEAR & BAGS
- Place your item on a flat surface in an upright position and follow steps 3 & 4 above.
